Let's Talk Cars - SEMA 360 Show, 2020, Online
My experience attending the SEMA 360 automotive trade show during the pandemic.

Attending this year's SEMA show was quite a unique, enriching and informative experience. With COVID prevalent throughout the world, this year's show was entirely online. Imagine having an interest in something and then having a resource that provides information about every aspect of it. It was truly a learning experience for me in several ways.
I started the week attending the live video presentations, which were interactive. At the same time, I was trying to review all the information available, while attending for the week. Absolutely, positively not possible, nor the way to go about it. Once I began pacing myself and downloading information for later, It became so much less frantic and much more enjoyable.
In the months to come, I'll post articles about the show, as well as interviews I conducted with automotive industry professionals. If you have anything you'd like to hear about in particular, please contact me at the address below.

Currently plans are in place for both virtual and in person events for 2021. Next year, I plan to attend both, given the opportunity. I look forward to sharing those experiences with you.

Created after industry members expressed a need for a viable
marketplace solution in the absence of the 2020 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, SEMA360 will connect manufacturers with qualified worldwide resellers and media.
“With a vast appeal and access to an exclusive database, SEMA360 is
the best place for manufacturers to build brand awareness, connect with
existing and prospective customers, and feature what’s new,” said Tom
Gattuso, SEMA vice president of events. “SEMA360 is essential to helping companies meet their 2020 business objectives and build momentum toward a successful 2021.”
Through the SEMA360 platforms, manufacturers have
flexibility and can easily create custom showcases to promote their
companies and current new product innovations to help meet their
specific goals. A dedicated customer service rep will be assigned to
each manufacturer to assist with all logistical and technical aspects of
the process.
“Prior to creating SEMA360, SEMA gathered the industry’s
input and learned their concerns about typical virtual trade events,”
said MPMC Director Jim Skelly. “SEMA360 is straightforward and simple; and is the ideal solution to help MPMC members do business and connect with the industry.”
In addition to Manufacturer Showcase Pages, SEMA360 will include dedicated areas for new products, project vehicles, industry-leading seminars and private forums.
