Man 'Buys' $7K Of Hardware Items On Neighbor's Account: Deputies
If fences make good neighbors, shopping at a neighborhood store allegedly on your neighbor's in-store account apparently does not.

HALF MOON BAY, CA — A 42-year-old resident of Princeton was arrested on suspicion of grand theft and fraud Thursday evening at the Ace Hardware store in Half Moon Bay for allegedly making purchases and billing them to his neighbor's in-store account, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Dustin Leslie is accused of purchasing $7,000 of tools and other merchandise at the local business between July and Aug. 7 using the account without the neighbor's permission, deputies said.
The agency was called to the store at 6:30 p.m. by Ace employees who recognized the suspect in the case, who was reportedly attempting to make additional purchases, the agency said.
