SamTrans Offers Hourly Busing for Pumpkin Fest in Half Moon Bay

SamTrans drops off and picks up just steps from the festival and will provide hourly service.

From Samtrans: Don't be haunted by traffic and parking goblins. Ride SamTrans Route 17 & 294 and travel in good spirits to the 48thAnnual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival this weekend, Oct. 13 and 14.

SamTrans drops off and picks up just steps from the festival and will provide hourly service on its Route 294 line to help accommodate the crowds attending the coast side event, which features the world’s biggest gourds, fantastical pumpkin carvings, live entertainment and plenty of other fun activities.

For residents traveling on Caltrain, Route 294 is an easy, direct connection from the Hillsdale Caltrain Station.SamTrans also provides service from the Colma and Daly City BART stations – Routes 112 and 110 – that connect with Route 17 service in Pacifica to get festival attendees to Half Moon Bay.

Because of the heavy crowds, passengers should expect delays during the weekend. Traffic will be congested, but passengers on SamTrans can relax and enjoy an air conditioned ride instead of dealing with the headache of driving.
