SF Giants Hunter Pence is Pumpkin Festival Parade Grand Marshal

SF Giants Ballplayer, Fan Favorite, Inspirational Leader and Halloween Costume Buff Headlines Big Parade, Saturday, October 13 at 12 noon

Will he or won’t he come in costume? Two-time World Series champion, three-time All-Star, Willie Mac award winner and San Francisco Giants all-time, all-out inspirational leader and fan favorite (and Halloween costume buff) Hunter Pence will serve as honorary Grand Marshal of the world-famous Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival Parade, Saturday, October 13 at 12 noon.


“To Giants fans, Hunter Pence will always be remembered for his inspirational leadership, contagious enthusiasm and outstanding play as a key cog in two World Series championship teams," said Cameron Palmer, Chairman of the festival committee. "We're super excited and totally thrilled he has accepted our invitation to serve as parade Grand Marshal this year. And we can’t wait to see his and his wife Lexi's costumes”

The 48th Annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival runs October 13-14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main St. between Mill and Spruce Streets in Half Moon Bay. Admission is free.

The festival is presented by the non-profit Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee as a community benefit.

WHEN: Oct. 13-14, 2018. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
