5B Artists + Media To Produce Enhanced Summer Concert Series

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — 5B Artists + Media, a global music management and events company founded by a South Bay native, has signed on as the exclusive producer of the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series, which kicks off in August 2019, it was announced Tuesday.

5B Artists + Media, founded by local and CEO Cory Brennan, has been in business for 15 years and produces major events and festivals around the world, the press release said.

"We are really excited to partner with the team at 5B Artists + Media to continue this great tradition of free concerts on our beach in August," Hermosa Beach Mayor Stacey Armato said. "They are enthusiastic about producing the best possible performances, committed to the community, and will bring new energy and ideas to the Hermosa Beach Summer Concerts. We are looking forward to all that they have planned for Hermosa Beach in August.”

The concert series kicks off August 3. The tentative schedule is August 3-4, August 17-18 and August 24-25. Lineups and additional information for each event will be announced in the coming weeks.

In an open letter to the residents of Hermosa Beach, Brennan wrote:

Dear Hermosa,

As a longtime resident of the South Bay I cannot be more excited to partner with Mayor Stacey Armato and the city of Hermosa Beach to continue the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series in August 2019. My goal is to take this amazing community event and grow it from a local series into an extensive month-long event that showcases everything that makes Hermosa Beach special.

The event will highlight the incredible people; the beautiful beaches; a culture of great music and food; and a strong community that cares as much, or more than I do, about our home in the South Bay.

My vision is to bring a fresh and enhanced music festival experience to the beach. Naturally we will bring incredible music - but this event will be much more that that: comedy, movies by the beach, yoga mornings, community cleanups and more - all paired with great food and music.

Another extremely important aspect to this vision is driving awareness to Hermosa Beach businesses and supporting non-profits that keep our beaches clean and help the arts and schools in the area (and any other important community agendas).

In the coming week we will announce our music and comedy talent for the festival, as well as a many other ways in which the community of Hermosa Beach can be involved.
It is important to us that the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series is inclusive of every aspect of Hermosa Beach and the surrounding South Bay: local businesses and artists, restaurants, chefs and more.
