BCHD To Offer Free Fitness Classes In Hermosa Beach
Beach Cities Health District is partnering with South Bay gyms to provide free exercise classes from Feb. 24 through March 1.
HERMOSA BEACH, CA — Hermosa Beach residents are invited to take free exercise classes in Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach as part of the week-long community health initiative, Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) announced Friday.
Beach Cities Health District is partnering with local gyms in the South Bay to provide free exercise classes to the community from Feb. 24 through March 1 , the news release said.
The "Beach Cities Health District’s Free Fitness" program was designed by BCHD in 2015 to introduce people of all income and fitness levels to a variety of workouts including yoga on the beach, Zumba, dance, Pilates, strength training and more, the news release said. This year’s lineup consists of more than 70 classes, and is open to all ages and experience levels.
