Community to Give Feedback about Hermosa Beach PD
Monday the public can weigh in via phone or during a session at city hall.

The Hermosa Beach Police Department is up for review, and residents are being asked to weigh in with their feedback.
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) will be reviewing the police department to ensure it has met professional standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
CALEA will host a public information session Monday night at 7 p.m. inside the City of Hermosa Beach Council Chambers, 1315 Valley Drive. During the meeting residents can offer their comments—but the amount of time for comments will be limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency's ability to comply with applicable standards. Â
