COVID-19 TESTING:

BCHD is running a drive-through COVID-19 testing site in partnership with Los Angeles County. Medical volunteers instruct and monitor individuals who self-administer the test to ensure the person correctly completes the COVID-19 test. Non-medical volunteers can assist with computer administration or traffic control. If interested, BCHD can move forward with completing the necessary steps to volunteer and get you scheduled to come out and assist immediately. Again, a commitment of at least one half-shift per week for at least 3-6 months is requested.

COVID-19 POSITIVE RESULTS CALLS:

Volunteers (volunteers with medical backgrounds or experience with contact tracing highly preferred) are also needed to call those individuals who have tested positive after being tested at the BCHD site, to notify them and follow up with critical information. If interested, BCHD can move forward with completing the necessary steps to volunteer and get you scheduled to assist immediately. A commitment of one day per week for at least three to six months is requested.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering can complete the volunteer interest form and a BCHD member will reach out.
