Hermosa Beach Announces Return of Summer Sidewalk Sale

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau hosts its sixth annual Summer Sidewalk Sale in downtown Hermosa Beach Saturday, Aug. 13 and Sunday, Aug. 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The family-friendly event allows residents and visitors to browse through merchandise on the sidewalks of Pier and Hermosa avenues, enjoy live music and take advantage of enticing discounts. Restaurants are also offering various specials and several businesses have children’s activities in addition to partaking in the popular scavenger hunt that gives participants a chance to win some awesome gifts.

The summer weekend brings the community together as business owners find the sidewalk sale to be the perfect opportunity to mingle with customers and showcase their must-have products in a festive atmosphere. Business owners have the opportunity to connect with their proximity to the sea through countless ways that’ll catch shoppers’ attention.

Look for them to dress up storefronts with beachy decorations, create fun contests and offer refreshing bites with cool drinks to accompany attractive outdoor sales that carry into their stores. With summertime tunes entertaining everyone on Pier Avenue, the surf and sand vibe is certain to spread throughout downtown along the busy sale racks and tables.

It’ll be a lively two days in town with the National Volleyball League’s West Coast Championships, Movies on the Beach and Summer Concerts taking place as well. So spend a sunshine-filled weekend shopping and dining at the beach to experience the Summer Sidewalk Sale in Hermosa Beach.
