HERMOSA BEACH, CA — A three-day Virtual Sidewalk Sale kicks off Friday in Hermosa Beach with more than 100 retailers and eateries — all struggling to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic — offering online specials, local deliveries and curbside pick-ups.

“The silver lining of any crisis is how people come together," said Jeff Bonafede, co-founder of Pier Avenue's Uncorked Wine Shop, one of the Hermosa participating establishments.

The event, running Friday through Sunday, is a collaboration of the Downtown Hermosa Business Association, the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce, Truly Hermosa and the newly formed community-launched HermosaOne.com website.
