Hermosa Beach Police Blotter: 'Sucker Punch' Suspect Arrested

The following information is from the Hermosa Beach Police Department regarding incidents reported from Jan. 7-13:

01/10-/2014, 0232, 1100 BLK HERMOSA AVE, DISTURBANCE

Two males were disturbing the peace inside a business.  Both were asked to leave.  Both subjects began to leave and then one began to urinate in public.  Subject booked for public intoxication.

01/10/2014, 0800, 2400 BLK HERMOSA AVE, BURGLARY

Forced entry to vehicle (door lock punched).  Cellphone and other items were taken from vehicle. 

01/10/2014, 0936, 500 BLK PIER AVE, THEFT

License plate stolen from parked vehicle. 

01/11/2014, 0207, UNIT BLK PIER PLAZA, DISTURBANCE

Suspect “sucker punched” victim during verbal altercation.  Subject arrested and booked. 

01/11/2014, 1007, 1300 BLK HERMOSA AVE, VANDALISM

Subjects etched windows at location as well as other businesses along Hermosa Avenue.  Excellent images of suspects on security video.
