Hermosa Dog's Bucket List Will Make You Cry: VIDEO
The heartwarming "dogumentary" shows Abby going to Vegas, on a yacht, & peeing on one of the tallest trees in the Sequoia National Forest.
HERMOSA BEACH, CA – When Mark Sutherland realized his 15-year-old dog's health was deteriorating, he decided to take her on a cross-country road trip to fulfill a bucket list as a big, long goodbye. That's how Sutherland's film, "Abby's List: A Dogumentary," was born.
Sutherland, from Hermosa Beach, has had his whippet named Abby since she was a puppy, according to the Beach Reporter. On the bucket list are not-so-typical dog activities, such as sailing a yacht, seeing the snow, going to Vegas and peeing on one of the tallest trees in the Sequoia National Forest.
"I love and admire Abby more than I can say," Sutherland told the Houston Chronicle. "She's loyal, patient, smart and never boring. Honestly, I've moved from city to city, and girlfriends and friends have come and gone. Abby's remained by my side through it all."

Sutherland said he and Abby were living on "borrowed time," so he decided to pack up his stuff, hit the road and tackle the bucket list, The Blaze reported. Sutherland is crowd-funding the project on Indiegogo – Abby is aging and the clock is ticking, so he can't "sit and wait around for thoughtful, but slow corporate sponsors," he wrote on the fund-raising page.
