Last month, Leadership Hermosa Beach announced its annual class project, Valley for All, which was unanimously approved by the Hermosa Beach City Council. The green light from the City Council kicked off a number of fundraising efforts by the class, which now includes commemorative bricks to be included as part of the project.
The limited number of bricks come in 4” x 8” ($160) and 8” x 8” ($250) sizes and will be placed in the project area which is the lower barbecue area at the park. All proceeds will support the park upgrades, which include installing a new entrance ramp, ground leveling, power washing and maintenance, replacing the barbecue, sink and other upgrades at the eastern barbecue area of Valley Park. Information on ordering a brick is available at valleyforall.org/bricks .

A wine & cheese tasting fundraiser is also in the works, with two Hermosa Beach businesses, Cultured Slice and Uncorked, providing gourmet cheese and wine offerings for the event. Details will be posted to the valleyforall.org website shortly.
The anticipated unveiling of Valley for All will take place on June 13, 2021 at Valley Park, with all project donors and sponsors invited to attend.
