Realtor, 24, Is Now 2nd Youngest Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Prez Ever
Realtor Lucas Commiso, 24, has been chosen as the 2nd-youngest Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club president in the organization's 93-year history.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- A realtor who was raised in Hermosa Beach has now become the second youngest president of the local Kiwanis Club in the organization's 93-year history.
Lucas Commiso, 24, a realtor with Re/Max Estate Properties was appointed to his new position with the Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club on Oct. 1, according to the Daily Breeze newspaper.
Commiso, who attended Hermosa View, Valley and Mira Costa High School, is a second-generation realtor, raised during the market crash of 2008.

"Watching my parents continue to produce in what other realtors called a 'bad market,' I began to envision my real estate career," he wrote in his online bio for Re/Max.
After obtaining a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2017, he returned to Hermosa Beach to become a real estate agent.

He became involved with Kiwanis in 2018 after previously receiving a scholarship from the organization after graduating from Mira Costa High in 2013.
The youngest president in Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club history was Cary Bichlmeier, who served at the age of 23.
