Wow! House: Musicians John Trivers and Liz Myers Sold Hermosa Beach Home for Record Price
The home is the most expensive home sold in Hermosa Beach so far this year.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- Songwriting couple John Trivers and Liz Myers, who have collaborated with some of music's biggest names, have sold their Hermosa Beach home for a record prize.
The custom three-story home in Hermosa Beach's the Strand area was sold for $8.35 million -- the most for a home in the city, according to the Los Angeles Times. The home was listed for $8.795, according to listing agent Kristen Novoa of Vista Sotheby’s Realty.
The home was designed by architect Mark Appel and features three bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 bathrooms with an open floor plan that evoke loft living. The main floor features a European-style kitchen that looks out to the dining and living room and the balcony.

The master suite on the upper floor has an ocean view that stretches from Catalina to Malibu. A lower-level bedroom has access to the patio and Strand access. The home also features a home office and gym area that could be turned into a fourth bathroom.
The home is the most expensive home sold in Hermosa Beach so far this year. According to CoreLogic, the median price for a home in the area was $1.562 million in August, based on 14 sales.
