2 Killed In Separate Shootings In Highland Park Area
Police have not said if there is a connection to the shootings within a mile of each other over the last 24 hours. The killers are at large.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was shot an killed at Herman Dog Park Wednesday roughly a mile from where another man was shot and killed Highland Park hours earlier. In both cases, the shooter or shooters remain at large, and police have not publicly identified any connection between the two slayings.
The shooting at the dog park in the Monterey Hills area of Ernest E. Debs Regional Park was reported shortly before 8 a.m. near South Avenue 60 and Monterey Road, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who died at the scene.

The night before, another man was shot and killed near a church in Highland Park, and the suspects in that case remain at large.
That shooting was reported about 5:05 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Ash Street and North Avenue 56, near All Saints Episcopal Church, Officer Mike Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division and KTLA5.

Police are seeking two men and two women as suspects in the shooting, according to KTLA5.
