1. ASNC Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting

The Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee of the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council is scheduled to meet today, Friday, Oct. 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Jack in the Box franchise located at 4228 North Figueroa St., 90065. The meeting's agenda includes discussions on Los Angeles Fire Department station boundaries and Community Emergency Response Team drills for Monterey Hills. Click here for more information.

Mark your calendars: A meeting to help determine the future of the Southwest Museum is scheduled on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Glassell Park Senior Center. The meeting is a follow-up to last week's third community discussion about the Southwest Museum hosted by the El Plan Del Southwest Museum Task Force at the Glassell Park Senior Center and attended by about 40 people.
