Who is above the law? Why does the Los Angeles City Attorney claim "churches" are above the law? The Los Angeles Municipal Code does NOT give an exemption. And California Penal Code 415 does NOT give an exemption. What the Los Angeles City attorney chooses to do is piece meal the law. They do NOT look at the entire law. When it comes to peace and quiet, NO ONE is above the law. Other cities have cited and even arrested ministers and priest for noise violations. And, the Supreme Court ruled churches do not have a right to make noise.

So, why does the Los Angeles City Attorney continue a law that is in violation of a Supreme court ruling? Because they are so afraid of the powerful. They run scared to take a stand and do what is right. The Los Angeles City Attorney will stand up for the undocumented, LBGT, renters rights, ect. But when it comes to peace and quiet rights and going against the religious the Los Angeles City Attorney remains quiet, quiet so the religious can continue their noise. Los Angeles City Attorney is afraid to stand up for peace and quiet. '

Divine Saviour Catholic church, 90065 blasts their amplified sound system into my home 10 times a day every day. Churchmembers took me to court twice. They lost twice.

Churchmembers and City Attorney maliciously prosecuted me for a crime I did not commit. A jury found me not guilty. Clearly the City Attorney is in the pocket of the powerful. And, has no morals.
