Since he was elected in November 2012 to represent California's 51st Assembly District, Jimmy Gomez has been busy with various legislative issues in Sacramento, including his efforts on behalf of cities and small towns to regain more administrative control over the proliferation of massage parlors in neighborhoods such as Eagle Rock and Highland Park. With the Assembly in summer recess, however, Gomez has been in L.A. lately—and he's scheduled to give an interview to Patch in Eagle Rock on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 1.
