LAPD Pursuing Armed Man Near Avenue 50 and Figueroa
LAPD Northeast announced on Twitter that police activity was ongoing at Avenue 50 and North Figueroa on Wednesday.
Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division requested on its Twitter account at 10:52 a.m. on Wednesday that residents stay away from Avenue 50 and North Figueroa, as police activity is ongoing.
@NortheastArea tweeted "#LAPD police activity at Figueroa & Ave 50 (Highland Park). Please stay away from area."
An officer at LAPD Northeast Division's front desk confirmed that police were looking for a man with a gun.
