New Artichoke Video Features Old LA Farmers Market

Do you recognize your favorite vendors in this video?

Highland Park band Artichoke loves their neighborhood.

In 2009, the sextet released a Historic Highland Park, which featured tracks lauding local icons like Charles Lummis and celebrating roving bands of feral cats.

That local love hasn't faded on their latest album, 2012's Etchy Sketchy Skies.

The band recently released a video for the album's first track, "Market of Farms." Shot at the Old LA Certified Farmers Market, the four-minute video captures the vibrancy of life at Marmion Way and Avenue 58 on any given Tuesday.

As an added bonus, the song features a sitar performance by local musician Paul Livingstone.
