Sonny's Hideaway to Replace HPK at 5137 York Boulevard

The location at 5137 York Blvd. hath begat yet another new restaurant, according to Eater L.A.

Sonny's Hideaway is the latest in a lineage of eateries at the location, which included  HPK, Café Lobos and Marty's.

From Eater L.A.:

[R]right now work is underway by Highland Park-based Wade Robinson (WadeCo Design) and carpenter Jim Jewett (SawHorse) to retool the space into a modern American comfort food place that also serves craft cocktails and primarily California beers and wines.
