Frank Lloyd Wright Jr.'s Storied Novarro House Gets Price Drop

The unique celebrity magnet has been home to "Ben Hur" star Ramon Novarro, Leonard Bernstein, Diane Keaton and Christina Ricci.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The landmark Samuel Novarro House is one of those rare houses where you can identify the architect simply by looking at it. It's a Frank Lloyd Wright Jr. house.

The Mayan-inspired Art Deco home is a Historic Cultural Monument known as the Samuel Novarro House.

Fittingly, the famous home by LA's most famous architect has always been magnet for the rich and famous from Leonard Bernstein to Diane Keaton, Leonard Bernstein, Jerome Robbins, Betty Comden, Adolph Green, and Christina Ricci, according to LA Curbed. However, it was most famously home to silent film legend and "Ben Hur" star Ramon Novarro. Hollywood's original Latin lover lived in the home after he found out his manager Louis Samuel, who commissioned the house, had been embezzling from him. As part of a discreet settlement, Novarro took over the house. Now their names are forever linked because the home is named for both of them.
