'Nightmare on Elm Street' House in Hollywood Sells for $2.1M

The famous home is officially off the market.

The house best known for its role as 1428 Elm Street in "A Nightmare on Elm Street" has sold for $2.1 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Actually located at 1428 North Genesee Ave. in Hollywood, the home was purchased by its former owner for $1.15 million in 2006, according to Curbed.

The three-bedroom, three and a quarter-bathroom Spaulding Square residence has a pool, garden and guest house, as well as custom built-ins, walnut floors and a master suite with a floating spa tub, according to the Redfin listing.
