Cox bringing Xolos soccer players to Border View YMCA Oct. 10
FREE community event to include autographs, photos, meet and greet
Cox Communications is bringing professional soccer players from Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente (Xolos) to the Border View Family YMCA in south San Diego for a special public appearance. The public is invited to the free community event from 4-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Border View Family YMCA, 3601 Arey Dr, San Diego, Calif. 92154.
The first 200 people to register will be guaranteed a chance to meet the players. The public can enjoy refreshments and prizes, and tours of the Border View YMCA will also be available. To register, visit https://www.ymca.org/programs/xoloitzcuintles-de-caliente-3549122-191011

Midfielder Fernando Arce Jr., who was born in Chula Vista and grew up in Mexico, where his father was a professional soccer player. Arce Jr. played on the U.S. under-20 national team.
Goalkeeper Gibran Lajud, who was born in Mexico City and has played for Chivas USA and Major League Soccer’s Houston Dynamos.

Forward Erik “El Cubo” Torres, a native of Guadalajara who played for Mexico’s National Team.
Cox teamed up with the Xolos and Border View Family YMCA to bring the special community event to local youth and soccer fans of all ages.
