IMPERIAL BEACH, CA — Forecasted heavy rain could trigger flash flooding in some areas of San Diego County Wednesday, when another storm rolls into the region, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency issued a Flash Flood Watch for the county's coastal areas, mountains and valleys — including Imperial Beach — from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
"A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding," weather officials said. "Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation."
