IB Area Gas Prices At Highest Amount Since November 2019

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose four-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.986, its highest amount since Nov. 14, 2019.

The average price has risen 61 of the past 66 days, increasing 50.7 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 1.3 cents higher than one week ago, 10.3 cents more than one month ago and $1.101 greater than one year ago. It has risen 75.9 cents since the start of the year.
