Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Substation

The Sheriff's Department charges the City of Imperial Beach $48,000 per month or $576,000/year more than the City charges the Sheriff.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department uses the City of Imperial Beach’ property to operate a Sheriff’s Substation. According to the Sheriff’s website; the Imperial Beach Substation provides Sheriff services to Bonita, Lincoln Acres, Otay, and Imperial Beach.

The City of Imperial Beach charges the Sheriff’s Department $2,358 per month with a 3% yearly increase to rent the building and 25 parking spaces.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Department charges the City of Imperial Beach $50,566.18 per month for ‘space’ with yearly increases ranging from 4.5% to 6% yearly.
