Kids on the Go Providing Childcare for Essential Workers

Families with workers in the critical infrastructure sector and without childcare due to the COVID-19 crisis have a resource in Chula Vista. Kids on the Go is offering licensed childcare to all parents in essential service sectors. Located in Otay Ranch Town Center , Kids on the Go is offering childcare services from Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. for children ages 2- 12.

Heightened protocols consistent with the CDC and local health orders are being carried out throughout the day. This includes temperature readings, increased hand washing, constant and thorough sanitation practices and extreme limiting of public entry to the facility.

Kids on the Go is part of the emergency childcare task force for San Diego County and is remaining up to date and in compliance with local, state and federal mandates. This includes limiting group sizes and maintaining stable classroom groups. Students' schedules have been modified to accommodate distance learning education for elementary age students and continuing preschool programming for 2-5 year olds.

Kids on the Go recently relocated with Otay Ranch Town Center at 2015 Birch Road into a larger, enhanced 11,000 square foot space (Space #201), directly on the mall's main street.
