Public Records’ Request to the San Diego County Clerk of the Boar

The Sheriff's Department's response implies that the Clerk of the Board is the sole person responsible for creating the Contracts.

Attached is a copy of the response from the San Diego Sheriff’s Department regarding a Public Record Request for all documents regarding the creating of Contracts for additional services from the nine Contract Cities.

The Sheriff has stated: “Each contract contains the names of the persons who signed the contract. The Sheriff's Department negotiates with all nine cities as a group. The Sheriff's Department does not have a document(s) that identifies the "Name and Job Title of everyone involved in the development of the Sheriff's Contracts with the nine (9) Contract Cities”.”

Also attached is a copy of the signatures of the Sheriff’s Contract. The Sheriff’s Contract is signed by the Supervisors’ Clerk of the Board, which the Sheriff’s Department’s response implies that the Clerk of the Board is the sole person responsible for the creation of these fraudulent Contracts that are grossly overcharging the nine Contract Cities.

Public Records’ Request:

All documents, notes, and memos held by the San Diego Board of Supervisors and/or the Clerk of the Board regarding the creation of the Contracts between the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and the nine (9) Contract Cities, which are Del Mar, Encinitas, imperial Beach, Lemon Grove, Poway, San Marcus, Santee, Solana Beach, and Vista.

Name and Job Title of every person that contributed to the creation of the Sheriff’s Contracts with the nine Contract Cities.
