Imperial Beach, Calif. – Oct. 27, 2017 – YMCA Camp Surf is hosting two annual events promoting socialization and togetherness.

The Halloween spirit comes alive for Imperial Beach and Coronado residents at the YMCA Camp Surf. This event features classic “carnival” style games in addition to fun activities such as a bounce house, archery and even a spooky haunted trail! The free community event takes place in Imperial Beach at Camp Surf (560 Silver Strand Blvd).

Additionally, YMCA Camp Surf once again celebrates its annual Beach Party fundraiser with an evening for adults. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 from 4:00-9:00 pm in Imperial Beach at Camp Surf. The event features a California Dreamin’ theme with live and silent auctions, dinner, craft beer from local breweries, wine from FruitCraft, signature cocktails provided by Cutwater Spirits, live music, dancing and so much more.

Residents throughout San Diego County are encouraged to attend or sponsor a table for friends and fans of Overnight Camps. By attending this event, people become a significant part of the effort to raise the funds that help send kids to camp and improve camp facilities. “We look forward to this time of year where we open our doors to the entire community for an unforgettable Halloween,” said Zayanne Thompson, Executive Manager for YMCA Camp Surf. “Moving our annual Beach Party to this time of year as well makes for an equally exciting time. We hope families will come and join us for Halloween and the parents will enjoy an evening out on Nov. 4.”
