Altering the Skies
Just as people around the world began looking up and noticing what's happening above them...boom!
What’s going on in the sky is one of those topics that few people are dispassionate about...if chemtrails are real, if geo-engineering exists, if weather modification is fact and not science fiction.
Just when people have begun questioning what they are seeing and feeling - trails that form clouds, clouds that eventually cover entire counties, sinus and respiratory discomfort that lacks a medical explanation - they may not be seeing those trails so much any more.
Seeing is not believing in the case of the geo-engineering debate, however. You can put two people of identical intellect in front of the same milky mass in the sky and, depending on their beliefs about geo-engineering and weather modification, they will witness two entirely different scenarios.

For a moment, let us look through the eyes of those who see chemtrails. They will need to alter their own vision, and everything they have come to understand about the difference between a chemtrail and a contrail, a naturally formed cloud and a man-made cloud. Because now, there’s a new technology now, dubbed the “chem-bomb”, which explodes high in the atmosphere, without a plane immediately present, without leaving the tell-tale trail...and which neatly mimics a patch of clouds.
Unless, of course, you don’t believe in all this weather modification and Monsanto buying the Climate Corporation for nearly a billion dollars hogwash.

I sure didn’t. After all, most of the people I met who talked about that kind of stuff were...well...a little nutty.
And then came March 3, 2014. After that day, I changed my tune a little.
I’ve spent the last year encouraging people to watch the skies and see if they could tell how clouds formed...whether clouds appeared naturally, as water vapor amassing, or if they appeared from the emission of a plane. Now, that will no longer work as a means of awakening people to be conscious of what’s happening to our skies. Today’s technology removes the plane and the tell-tale trail from the equation. All you see is a cloud rapidly expanding from nothingness into being...not unlike the way a natural cloud forms.
My mother, who was born in 1924 and was one of the first female meteorologists in Germany during WWII, is quite sure that her daughters are blithering idiots for believing in weather modification. I have some otherwise relatively normal friends who will fight for days to prove that everything we see in the sky is normal, ordinary, of no concern.
I was a disbeliever until March 3, 2014...despite having literally thousands of pictures with artificial clouds and hour-long chemtrail sunsets in hot pink and neon orange. I couldn’t see them. I just thought, up here in the mountains, we have some very strange cloud formations. Altitude induced, perhaps.
On March 3, I happened to be outside trying to use the blue sky as a background for a photo shoot, when planes started flying back and forth across the expanse of clear blue, each time leaving a cloud in their wake that failed to dissipate. Within an hour and a half the entire sky was transformed to a milky haze, the light quality muted, my pictures dimmed to an unremarkable monotone.
How quickly an entire horizon was transformed that day. How my own vision was also transformed.
Most environmental issues are relatively simple to approach, and although there may be endless considerations and factors complicating their solution, people can agree or disagree based on some source of information that is generally accepted. Not so with geo-engineering, weather modification and chemtrails. Our trusted weather reporters can stand before an image of the day’s skies that looks more like a race track than an aerial image and describe the presence of alto cirrus. Surely if the weather experts call them clouds, they are clouds. Just ask The Weather Channel...right?
No other environmental debate is shrouded in so much denial, conspiracy theory and extreme emotion while happening in plain sight, over our heads, in broad daylight, almost all the time, all over the developed world.
And that makes the issue very difficult to discuss intelligently...something that really needs to happen. Because if those who believe geo-engineering exists are right, aluminum is one of the nano particulates being released into the atmosphere to reflect light and keep our planet cool (and give us dazzling, hour-long sunsets in almost unworldly colors)...and high levels aluminum are suspected as one of the things killing everything from bees to people. High levels of aluminum in the brain are reported to be a common denominator in Alzheimer’s victims.
Equally troubling (assuming for a moment that these clouds made from nano particulates do in fact exist) is their extended effect on local weather. While it may be a welcome relief on a hot day to have the sun’s rays diluted, the cloud cover prevents the escape of heat at the end of the day, when temperatures should fall. And it prevents the natural circulatory effect of hot air rising and pulling cooler, moister air in. Blanketing the sky with a nano-particulate haze has tangible and immediate adverse effects. It does not create a heat shield as much as a slow cooker effect. And then what she those particulates fall to earth? We breathe them, and eat them, and drink them.
For those freezing and drenched people in the rest of the country, a little heat might be a welcome thing, but according to some theorists, that’s not the way our planet is headed. Another turn for the chill is what many think will be the result of our tampering with the weather...whether as a by-product of our energy consumption, or our efforts to offset those effects with geo-engineering.
Climate change, like plate tectonics and galactic gravitational interaction, is in and of itself a natural thing. The whole of our present human civilization has evolved in a ten thousand year “sweet spot” that has offered homo sapiens appropriate conditions in which to thrive. We can’t expect it to be static...and we likely shouldn’t presume that we can use the by-products of our energy consumption to rectify the effects we’ve had on our global climate in the past two hundred years. It’s really just more pollution...which falls back to earth, over population centers, in particles so fine that we breathe them in deep.
That is, of course, if you believe there’s something going on above that’s altering our skies.
