CIF-SS Baseball and Softball Playoff Pairings Released

The CIF-Southern Section released its pairing for the softball and baseball playoffs Monday. Right now we're just going to give you the nuts and bolts: who's playing who; when's the game and where's it taking place. Here's the local matchups in the baseball playoffs (all games are scheduled for 3:15 p.m. starts):

Divsion 2

Tuesday's wildcard round: Pasadena (17-9-1) at Valencia (15-9-1).

Tuesday's wildcard round: St. Francis (14-13) at Peninsula (19-8-1).

Thursday's first round: Mayfair-Notre Dame/S.O. winner at No. 8 Crescenta Valley (22-4).

Thursday's first round: Redlands East Valley-La Sierra at No. 2 Arcadia (23-3).

Division 4

Tuesday's wildcard round: La Canada (11-10) at Summit (11-10-1)

Tuesday's wildcard round: South Pasadena (11-15) at Nordhoff (14-8).

Thursday's first round: La Salle (17-10) at Covina (16-10).

Thursday's first round: Monrovia (11-13-1) at El Segundo (18-12).

Division 6

Tuesday's wildcard round: Rio Hondo Prep (9-11) at St. Margaret's (12-7).

Thursday's first round: Flinridge Prep (14-9) at Vasquez (17-3).
