Cops ID Man Killed When Car Plunges Off Angeles Forest Highway
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.

LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – Authorities identified a man Monday who was killed when a car plunged about 200 feet off of North Angeles Forest Highway.
The crash was reported at 1:34 p.m. Saturday at the Hidden Spring Picnic Ground in Monkey Canyon, Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. Ron Haralson said.
Firefighters and Urban Search and Rescue teams arrived at the scene at 2:07 p.m., Haralson said

Rescuers were lowered with ropes to the wreckage, where they found Carl Raggio, 40, dead, he said. Raggio died at the scene, the coroner's office reported. His home town was not known.
