Crime Blotter: Burglary at Doña Maria

The following information was provided by the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.

Unidentified suspects cracked open the door to Doña Maria and pried open the cash register recently, netting $200 cash, according to a report from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.

The Foothill Boulevard restaurant was locked and secured on May 21 before employees left for the evening, the report states. When they returned the next morning, the rear security door was forced open, and the cash register was empty.

Damage to the restaurant was assessed at $250.
