Girls' Soccer: Mills Earns Mission League MVP; Other Tologs Honored

Kayla Mills, a senior defender, joined a host of other teammates winning league-wide awards.

The team banquet for the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy girls soccer team was a day of surprise awards, as senior defender Kayla Mills found out she was voted the Mission League's most valuable player, according to the La Canada Valley Sun.

Mills wasn't alone in her accolades. Midfielder Sarah Teegarden was the league's top defensive player, and teammates Savannah Viola, Krista Meaglia, Hanna Armendariz, Kendall Sandoval, Hailey James, and Dani Garcia were named to first- or second-team all-league, according to the Sun.
