La Cañada Flintridge City Accepting Applications For City Commissioners/Committies

La Cañada Flintridge, CA–The City of La Cañada Flintridge is seeking applications from residents to serve on the city of LCF Commissions, Councils, and Committees. Those interested may submit an application to the Office of the City Clerkby 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26,2021. Applications may be submitted in person, by mail, fax, or by e-mail to tmoreno@lcf.ca.gov. Applications can be obtained online by clicking the links below.

The City’s commissions advise the City Council on matters within specific areas of responsibility. All Commissioners serve four-year terms, except Youth Council, which is a two-year term. The commissions and committee members are appointed by the City Council and members must be residents of the City of La Cañada Flintridge.

“City commissioners play a vital role in advising the City Council on matters that affect all of us who live, work, and play in our community,” said Mayor Michael T. Davitt. “Serving as a commissioner is a rewarding way to make a difference in the City.”

Positions are available on all of the City’s Commissions, which include the Design Commission, Investment & Financing AdvisoryCommittee, Parks & RecreationCommission, Planning Commission, Public Safety Commission, Public Works, and Traffic Commission, and Youth Council.

The City Council is tentatively scheduled to make the appointments at the May 18, 2021, Regular Meeting.
