A game or contest consisting of two or more teams, with a total of eleven (11) or more participants.

A game or contest consisting of two or more teams regardless of number of participants, with uniforms or identifying apparel of competitors, and/or referees/coaches.

The Council’s goal in adopting this ordinance is to limit excessive organized team play, particularly without a permit, to reduce the impact on limited green space and better meet community needs.

Permits will be for one-time or recurring use. Resident applicants, as defined by the ordinance, can obtain one-time use permits for organized team play free of charge by applying no later than 72 hours before the use date, while non-residents must apply no later than 60 days before the use date for a fee. Recurring use permits require approval by the Parks and Recreation Commission; residents must apply 30 days in advance, while non-residents must apply 60 days in advance. Fees apply for recurring use permits, though residents can request a waiver. Applications are processed online at CityOfLCFf.org/Facility-Rentals.
