Mt. Waterman Ski Resort Open

Mt. Waterman Ski Resort will be open Saturday and Sunday, January 16 and 17, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Located in the Angeles National Forest and accessible from Highway 2, Waterman has faced six years of challenges in the wake of the Station Fire, first from road closures, and then from four years of drought. Last week’s storms delivered sufficient snow - perfect snow - for the opening of the ski resort.

To reach Mt. Waterman, take Angeles Crest Highway, also known as Highway 2 North, from La Canada approximately 35 miles into the forest. Mt. Waterman is located across from Buckhorn Campground and Day Use Area.
