One Dead In Back House Fire In La Canada Flintridge
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, CA — The body of a man was found in a burned back house behind a La Cañada Flintridge home Tuesday morning.
Firefighters and deputies responded to a home in the 4400 block of Rockmere Way about 11:30 p.m. Monday and discovered a rear house fully engulfed in flames, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The fire was declared knocked down just after midnight and a body was later found inside the fire-damaged structure, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Multiple broadcast reports indicated the victim was a man, but authorities could not immediately confirm the victim's gender.
No firefighters were hurt and the cause of the fire was under investigation
