Postcards from the Forest - Call to Action
Please contact our elected officials and urge them to direct more resources to the Bobcat fire

Thursday 8 AM Update, Bobcat fire call to action.
Please call all of our elected officials and ask them to allocate additional resources to the Bobcat fire burning in the Angeles National Forest. Recreational, historical, cultural and environmental resources have been lost and are under threat in the high country and in the highly utilized lower elevations. More fire fighting support is desperately needed. The fire could reach the communities of Juniper Hills and Littlerock. Additionally, significant, permanent damage to the ecosystems that have already burned recently and are in recovery will occur as the Bobcat fire moves through the Station fire burn footprint. These areas which have recovered so beautifully may well not be able to recover from another fire now. Many plants have not had their first seed cycle yet.
Please make these calls a priority in your day, and please call all the officials listed.
