Vince Vaughn's Latest Zipcode: 91011

Apparently Vince Vaughn is sooo money, he's purchased property in La Cañada.

If the 1996 "Swingers'' reference was lost on you, it's ok. All you really need to know is several news outlets and real estate websites are reporting that the 42-year-old writer/actor/producer has bought a five-bedroom colonial on three quarters of an acre right here in town.

According to the Hot Properties section of the L.A. Times, Vaughn purchased the 5,563-square-foot home for $3.925 million. The stately home features six bathrooms, a swimming pool and sports court, the article states. In addition to "Swingers,'' Vaughn is perhaps best known for his roles in "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story'' and "Wedding Crashers.'' He is currently in post production on "Delivery Man'' and "The Internship.''

In a story on realtor.com, the author notes that Vaughn's wife, Kyla Weber, is pregnant with their second child. Their daughter Locklyn was born in 2010, the article states. 

One wonders if La Cañada Unified School District, with the second highest API scores in the state, drew the celebrity to town? After all, it was the city's public schools that drew Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara to La Cañada, the La Cañada Outlook reported in its most recent edition.

The L.A. Times article named Debra McCoy of Dilbeck Real Estate as the listing agent, and Christine Navarro of Podley Properties as the sales agent.
