Starting September 7th, you will now find us located in the HIP District of Laguna at 1175 South Coast Hwy, next door to the Sandpiper Lounge & Twig. The first show at the new gallery, "BALANCE" opens Saturday, September 7th.
In this move to an exciting new chapter, we want to say thank you for making the first three years of AR4T such a wonderful ride. We made so many amazing friends and had such great times in our little gallery across from Main Beach. We are ready for growth and to see what the next chapter will bring, and we are excited for everyone to come along with us...So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails & see you soon!

Artists Republic 4 Tomorrow gallery is pleased to announce the first show in our new gallery - a duo show of new works from represented artists Ben Brough and Katherine Clarke Langlands (KCL). This will be the first time that these two artists will show together, bringing a collection of mixed media works from the viewpoints of yin and yang - two seemingly separate entities that come together in fluid unison. "BALANCE" is the quiescence of life, bringing peace to a chaotic world.Â
In this series of works, both Ben and Katherine take symbols and forms gleaned from the surrounding world and bring them to a focused place. Each artist was given size guidelines for their canvases, so they started in a state of equality. From there it became their task to find balance in their own worlds, and although Ben and Katherine share similarities in their cubist-flavored paintings with hints of collage, they are vastly different in their origins. Male and female, east and west, dark and light, day to night.
Ben Brough was one of the first artists to have a solo show with AR4T in 2010 and has been a large part of the gallery since. Katherine became part of the family earlier this year, and it is our pleasure to have these two artists kick off the first show in the new gallery location at 1175 S. Coast Hwy Laguna Beach.
