Beloved Dog Found In Laguna Beach

Portia, missing since June 1, last seen near Bluebird Canyon and Pacific Coast Highway, according to her owners was located!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Portia escaped from her Laguna Beach home in early June. Owners, desperately trying to find the wayward pup, reached out to their community through Patch and social media.

She was last seen in the area of Bluebird Canyon and Pacific Coast Highway. A Labrador/Terrier mix, she is brindle colored with a white chest, and is chipped and tagged, according to her owner.

"We were fearful she was abducted," he told us over Twitter. On Wednesday, he shared the news that Portia was found.

"We are all more than stunned and astonished that she was found," owner Ray told Patch. "It was social media/your effort that lead to her rescue. Wow. We are all very grateful. Thank you."
