Best Restaurants In OC For Valentine's Day & All Month Long

On Valentine's Day and all February long, Uber in Orange County has ideas for some excellent places for a special date with your sweetheart.

When asked, our readers agreed that an ocean view is always ideal

"Whether you’re looking to have an intimate, candlelit dinner or just a couple fancy cocktails, Uber is ready to accommodate any V-Day plan you have in mind."

When you use a ride share to get to where you are going, you don't have to rely on the restaurant around the corner having a reservation and you can make plans to further wow the love of your life with an ocean-view restaurant, a stroll on the beach at or after sunset, and can enjoy a bottle of wine and some snuggling in the back seat on your way home.

Where To Dine Out In Orange County on Valentine’s Day 2018:
1. Stag Bar - This Newport Beach 21 and over bar and restaurant is idea if you're "Galentineing" - at their "Going Stag--Love Stinks, Let's Drink" Valentine's party is on for the 14th. If you want to imbibe, try the VDay Chocolate Old Fashioned!
2. Salt Creek Grille - In Dana Point, visit the Salt Creek Grille with the cozy outdoor patio, inspired menu and private dining. Reservations a must.
3. Water Grill - In Costa Mesa, reservations are suggested at the Water Grill. Valentine's is happening here, with dishes that entice and a little more fine dining, with delicious seafood options.
4. Mastro's Ocean Club - Also in Costa Mesa, Mastro's Restaurants offers a stunning ocean view, once again, reservations suggested for their steak and sea food, as well as exquisite wine list.
5. Matador Cantina - Look to Fullerton for the infamous Matador Cantina. Voted best Mexican restaurant in Orange County, there are tequila tastings to spare as well as delectable authentic food. Located in historic downtown, reservations suggested.
6. SOL Mexican Cocina - Back to Newport Beach, with Sol Cocina, this is considered some of Orange County's best Mexican fair for the location, right next to the Balboa Marina. Talk about romantic waterfront views. Make a reservation in advance.
7. Billy's at the Beach - Try Billy's At the Beach in Newport Beach for the best in Hawaiian style seafood, with live entertainment. Enjoy a prix fixe dinner for $75 and better make that reservation!
8. Habana - In Costa Mesa, Habana has that rustic yet glowy candlelight appeal, and also has won a Diner's Choice award fro 2018 from Open Table. Reservations suggested, for either full menu or a Valentine's Prix-Fixe menu for 2, serving from 5 p.m. to midnight.
9. Sushi on Fire - Valentine's and Sushi just go together. Sushi on Fire in Huntington Beach. Make the call. Get that reservation.
10.Beach Comber Cafe at Crystal Cove - steps from the sand, between Laguna and Newport, if you want to walk the beach and enjoy that magic moment with your honey, on Valentine's Day? or for the rest of your lives, remember this amazing place.
