Can’t Dodge This! SchoolPower’s Dodgeball IV Registration Starts September 16

Submitted by SchoolPower:

SchoolPower’s hard-hitting Dodgeball Tournament, a wildly popular community event, returns to the Laguna Beach High School gyms on October 10.  Tournament registration is online September 16 – 27, so round up a team and be part of Laguna’s most entertaining sports event of the year.

In SchoolPower’s spin on the schoolyard classic, champions are named from three divisions: 4th - 5th grades, 6th - 8th grades, and high school/adult.  A prize is also awarded to the most creatively costumed team.  To compete, teams must have 6 to 8 players with at least two players of the opposite gender.

Team slots are limited and sell out so register early and don’t be left out of the action. Registration fees are $15 per student and $40 per adult with free registration going to the first two high school teams to sign up.  Spectators are free and encouraged to come cheer on the spirited competitors as they face off against their friends, neighbors, classmates and coworkers.  Tacos and beverages will be served when pre-ordered online.

Along with fun, the event raises funds for all four Laguna Beach schools through participant registrations and the support of local business sponsors including Hobie, the Terminator Sponsor for the 4th year in a row.
