The City of Laguna Beach and its solid waste contractor, Waste Management, are teaming up to host free composting classes for residents on Saturday, September 21, and Saturday, October 26. The classes will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Community and Susi Q. Center, 380 Third Street.
Composting is a simple and natural way to turn yard and food waste into valuable organic fertilizer for the garden. Compost Bins and Worm Bins will be available for purchase during the classes at a discounted price.
