City Will Now Let You Apply for Permits and Pay Fees Online

Submitted by the City of Laguna Beach:

The EnerGov Citizens Access Portal (CAP), an integrated Web portal that provides the community with 24-hour access to Permitting, Plan Management, Inspection, Code Enforcement and other Community Development services was launched early last year.  CAP provides 24/7 online access for contractors and citizens to check on filed permits and find permit information on pending projects, projects under construction, or completed projects, online permit submission / status checks, online inspection scheduling and cancellations and online Municipal Code violation reporting.

Now, applicants can process payments through CAP.  This added feature will expand the convenience that CAP provides.  Now applicants may apply for, pay and immediately have issued certain permits online.  Also, for any outstanding invoices, applicants may pay them online from the comfort of their office or home.
