The Laguna Bluebelt Coalition is celebrating the second anniversary of our Marine Protected Areas (MPA's) with the Third Annual Laguna Bluebelt Photo Contest, as a way to showcase Laguna's beautiful Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and Underwater Parks' Day on January 18th.
Contest prizes include a helicopter ride, dining at terrific restaurants, scuba diving, kayaking and SUP tours, whale and dolphin cruises, store gift cards & relaxing massages.  Everyone will have a chance to win a prize.  After the winning photos are chosen, the remaining photographers will be entered in a raffle for a special prize.  Send a photo (one per person) by January 18th, taken within one of Laguna's Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).  It must be shot between January 18, 2013 and January 18, 2014.  Send it with location and date to info@lagunabluebelt.org along with a title if you feel creative!  Prizes will be awarded in two categories:  Over Water and Under Water.  The lucky winners will be notified by January 27th. Emphasis will be placed upon photos that celebrate a healthy ocean environment and promote awareness and respect for the Laguna Bluebelt.
