Friday Laguna Canyon Road Closure

Friday, December 27, all four lanes of Laguna Canyon Road will be closed from approximately 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. near Canyon Acres.

Friday morning, December 27, all four lanes of Laguna Canyon Road will be closed from approximately 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. near Canyon Acres to allow Caltrans to remove loose rocks from a roadside slope. The rocks became loose during a small slide on the west side of Laguna Canyon Road just south of Canyon Acres on December 26. A Caltrans engineering and geotechnical team completed its evaluation of the conditions. They have recommended that both inbound lanes remain closed until the loose rocks are manually removed from the slope. Caltrans will coordinate to get residents on Milligan Drive in and out.
